Greetings:

My intent is to show the following setup is as easy as 1-2-3 by just plugging the components into the laptop without any additional software.

If you wanted to setup an eGPU with the DELL L702X 3D edition and was hesitant, go for it because it is super easy, and the results are absolutely amazing.

The following setup is completely possible with just PLUG and PLAY without any errors from Windows 7:

Laptop: Dell XPS L702X (3D edition)
EGPU connector: mpcie pe4l-pm060a

Seeing how the topic of external video cards for laptops is not taking any meaningful direction(amazingly) i decided to start a thread that talks about realistic solutions and hopefully attracts enough savvy people to get the ball rolling.

I wanted to buy a EXP GDC Beast eGPU Adapter to fix my Sony Vaio VPCEA1S1E/B (notebookcheck.net). When i boot up the Laptop it gives me a black screen. Can i just buy the Adapter and use it?

Hello all,

I've just started looking into setting up an e-GPU for my laptop so I can run VR without needing a completely new computer. Unfortunately when I purchased my laptop I didn't have this in mind so I ended up getting the Titan with SLI GTX 970m's. It appears that either the VR diagnostic tools don't recognize SLI or SLI is not supported with VR.

All that to say I am requesting help from the community so I can set this up properly since it seems each set up is unique to the...

Hello. It's my first post here.
I want to build a eGPU rig with my Dell E6330 (i5 3320m) through the ExpressCard module.
I was planning to get the PE4C adapter as it seems to be the most reliable adapter. However, the bplus site shows, that they are out of stock. I sent them an email about the possible time of restocking, but I didn't get any response.
I plan on running a GTX 670 in x1.2opt mode. Will this be possible without too much hussle and issues with the EXP GDC v8.0 adapter?

I have Dell inpiron 5520 with i5-3210m 8Gb RAM and intel+amd GPUs(HD3000+7670m 1Gb) with Windows 8.1 x64. I want to connect my desktop R9 390 to this PC. I'm using EXP GDC connected to Wi-Fi card slot and DIY eGPU software "setup 1.35". Sometimes I get only blackscreen, sometimes I get error 12. Are there people who tried doing eGPU with similar notebook? Maybe there are some advices on installation and what should I check?

Hello i have 2570p Elitebook HP. I bought an EXP GDC V8.0 and a Seasonic 430W I12II. i plugged all together, btw the exp gdc connect through Expresscard.. and when i start pc that card and psu turn on but i dont see it in my device manager, so i figure that i need to turn it on throw my bios setup somehow but hp has a weird bios menu and its kind ard to understand.. can someone please me understand what should i do with the bios setup in this hp laptop?? Thanks a lot!!

Hi, I have recently bought Exp Gdc Beast v8.4d. My system is Dell XPS 15 L502X. I have read almost every article to make it work. Followed exactly what was written in the posts. But my eGpu is not getting detected in device manager at all.
The lights on exp gdc and gtx 1060 are ON when connected to wifi port through hot-swap, i even tried direct connection through egpu setup 1.30. But it doesnt get detected still.
Even though it is connected and lights are on, it is not even shown detected...

Dell XPS 15 L502X egpu not detected.. PLz help !!
